These terms cover the Chess Bites publishing tool (the "app"), a program the channel owner, Rave Nir, runs on their own computer to publish videos to the Chess Bites YouTube channel, and this website.

YouTube Terms of Service

The app uses YouTube API Services. By using the app you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Watching Chess Bites videos on YouTube is governed by YouTube's terms and the Google Privacy Policy.

Who may use the app

The app is a private tool for publishing to the Chess Bites channel. It is not offered, sold or licensed to anyone else. Only the channel owner signs in to it.

Privacy

How the app uses Google and YouTube data is described in the Chess Bites Privacy Policy.

Content

Puzzle positions come from the Lichess puzzle database, released under CC0. The videos, graphics and text are made by Chess Bites. The puzzles and explanations are provided for learning and entertainment, as is, without warranty.

Changes

If these terms change, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
